Honestly, it annoyed the piss out of me doing it. But in all honesty, it is not th at difficult. When I replaced my exhaust I noticed that it was rusted out under the cat.
You are going to have to remove the exhaust, probably. There is a screw in the middle of the carpet under the dash in the front of the car. You are going to have to remove the trim, pull the carpet back, move some stuff out of the way, and pull back the fiberglass. This is the most tedious part. If I remember correctly, there is a plastic piece over the bolt. There is also a bolt under the console near the back behind the rear ashtray, it is not that difficult to get to.
Additionally, there may be two screws that you must detach from the underside. It would not take me much as I have already done it on the parts car and then my car, but the first time is slightly annoying.
Good luck,
