If it cranks fine, the fuel pump is on and the LH system is working, it HAS to run. He has to be missing something. If the fuel puimp will run with a jumper, then the next thing is to try the relays. Replace if necessary. If the relay is not closing, then you may not have any spark. no spark will. If you have spark, make sure that the ignition signal is at the LH box. If the relay will still not pull in, it is most probably a bad LH unit. I am betting that it does not have any spark due to an ignition amplifier. another possibuility is that the check valve is clogged and no fuel is getting to the injectors. Did he loosen the banjo bolt on the rail to see that there is pressure in the rail? go to the townsend site and print out the LH 2.4 no start checks. this is also in the bentley.
