Everything is in the Elring gasket set that you need. It is trickier to install the collets (keepers) in the 16V because they are recessed. There's a sweet littlemagnetic holder for them that is a real help. You'll also need something similar to the Saab tool to use with the compressor. To avoid scratching the bores, cut some strips of plastic from a 1 qt oil can and roll into sleeves. You'll need the right tool for pulling the seals off and reseating them too as they can be a son-of-a-gun even with the tool.
Best bet-pay a competent shop $75 or so to replace the seals and lap the valves. I only did it because I had access to the tools. Cracks are very rare on the 16V BTW.
