Helpful Advice to all---Please Read>>>more

Hey all,
I just wanted to give you all some helpful advice to enhance your saabing experience. As we know, most of us have added aftermarket stereo headunits that will no longer work with the standard clarion equalizer. I have managed however, to add a JVC radio headunit and a BEAUTIFUL sony XE-744 Equalizer in the din slot where the old, useless clarion equalizer used to rest. So in essence, I have a delightful display in the EQ slot with a SONY Din Unit equalizer. The lights dance along with the music coming from my aftermarket (JVC) radio headunit. My sony EQ. is not hooked up to an amplifier and thus renders useless in controlling the sound, but with power hooked up to it and an imput from the radio, it gives a colorful, bright display at night. Mind you, I only wanted this hookup to brighten the Clarion EQ spot that rendered pure darkness and wasteful space.
I just thought I'd share my experience to you all who wish they could have the clarion eq. hooked up to their aftermarket radio (Headunit), for display purposes. This cannot be accomplished! However, as I have just shown, you all can hook up an aftermarket Equalizer that would produce the same results. Any question? If so, please contact me via e-mail.
Thank You,
Darryl Strong
