I swapped it in today (original '89 part number ... 564, recently went bad). Started momentarily, then died. Much the same symptoms as my dead '89 ECU actually. I suppose there's a possibility that the '90 ECU I bought is dead as well, but I doubt it. Looks like it's just not compatible. Put the '88 version back in, and it works, but as before, no A/C or shift up light.

I hate my car.
