White smoke usually means a head gasket coolant leak into a cylinder, not a turbo burning oil (blue smoke). Also, since it only happens on startup, that also points to a coolant leak since it leaks in when sitting and pools up in the cylinder.

Leave it alone for a night, then do not start it in the morning, but pull all the spark plugs. You might notice that one is wet with coolant. Just to be safe, pull out the wire that goes between the middle of the distributor cap and the ignition coil, then crank the engine and watch the spark plug holes for spitting coolant. If you see any, get the head gasket replaced ASAP. This is one of the main killers of 900s.
