Ok I have been posting the past week or so since I bought this beautiful 88 turbo convertible...(pretty baby)..... called the local mechanic... took it to him to check out cold start prob and few drips of transmission fluid... told me my cold start prob required nothing more than a "good old fashioned tune up" I might add he charged me $300 for this (did I really get suckered or is this typical?) next told me my leak could only be approached by a dealer... I did contact a mechanic in st.louis.. i am about 22 miles from there.. who is highly recomended on all the saab sites... but my prob is( i know nothing about cars) especially this beauty.. will this few leaky drips be ok to drive on that distance? it only seems to leak at start up... few drips on driveway...when i check the level( which I am not sure I am doing right) seems to check out ok ( between the min and max level) Should I add some before I make the drive to st. louis? should i just keep monitoring it and see what happens? if i wanted to add some where does it go? and what type? and can I get this at lets say autozone? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!
