Well, that would be very messy and tricky. Try this>

To raise a 900's power window manually, you'd have to take off door panel, get past moisture barrier (like opalescent super-thick Saran Wrap), unbolt the motor/gear from the regulator and push the window up.

There might be an easier fix. Try these first:

1) Did the window sound sluggish for a long time before it died? If so, then maybe motor died and/or window console switch contacts are corroded/dirty? Years of crumbs/spilled sodas/coffee/general dust can achieve that. Try popping switch out of the console and cleaning its contacts or trying a known good switch. MIGHT NOT be interchangeable (driver's to pass.).

2) Did the power window just quit all of a sudden? If so, then perhaps the wires going INTO the door are frayed. (This happened once at a rodeo in my previous 900.) We found a chafed wire going into the bellows, located just between the door hinges on the driver's door. Apparently the bellows had aged, shrunk a bit, and popped out of its hole in the door jamb, just enough to allow the wires to constantly chafe away insulation again. Bare wire to bare metal=instant short. Luckily, some hasty electrical tape bandaging allowed me to roll the window up (closed) and we weren't late for the rodeo. (Thanks to my Mom, a good DIY'er!)

So, peel back that rubber bellows and scrutinize those wires!

Hope this helps!
