Not difficult at all. The tricky part for me was punching out the pins which hold the plastic reservoir. Then you have to determine if the piston chamber is in good shape and worth a rebuild. If the fluid was very old and moisture accumulated and pitted/scored the interior surfaces, then new seals won't help. Some talk about sanding/polishing (there's a techical word for it that I forget) the inside surface with a special tool made for that purpose. I didn't have a way to determine if my interior was damaged, so I opted to clean it as best I could with a clean rag and solvent, then held it up in the sunlight for a visual inspection. It looked sound, but the final test would be if the thing worked after reassembly and installing fresh fluid. Bleeding of air inside was a bit tricky. Over two years now and the thing works fine.
