I found a way to do a Nice one. I heard the Dash caps dont line up fully and can bubble in places. Heres what I pictured, Getting some thin , Im talking THin foam padding and put that over the dash top only, but first would have to get rid on the coinslot on the dash and fill in that hole. If the cracks make a raised part on your dash sand high spots down. 2. Lay down the padding, cutting them short of the edges, using contact cement. 3. With a selected piece of Leather or Vinal, (Black Leather preferred), lay this on top by using Contact Cement, Then cut it longer than the dash to wrap under the speaker holes, dash facia, and edges. After letting it set, reattach speaker grilles , this will look snug and sleak. As for the Glove box area, the first line area, or edge that you come to with door open stop it there. Hem the edge of the Leather so it fits directly on the line. This too will give you a nice ending point and look. Plan on spending about 3-4hrs, and around $50-80 dollars on the project.
