I own a '92 900S Turbo Convertible automatic that has recently started significant amounts of oil. Currently I have to add a quart every week or two to keep the level up. I took it into the shop, and they identified the leak as coming from the transmission/transmission coupling, which I guess also serves as an oil reservoir. They said this may or may not have a gasket, that a sealant may have been used. They also quoted me a price to fix it that I thought was crazy. For that price I could replace my auto with a five speed. What should one expect to pay for a job like this (I was told they have to lift the engine). Also, I have a main seal leak I would probably try and take care of at this time. Please help...
