Coolant or Turbo Smoke?

So in the last few days my 87 900T has decided to go to the dogs. It started out with just smoking while the car was idling/starting up. Now however, the car is smoking massive amounts all the time. It's hard to say if the smoke is whittish or blueish, but it seems more on the white side. My question is am I burning coolant or oil out of the turbo? I know that my turbo bushings are going bad, and the turbo has been sticking so last week I was poking around and testing all the components including opening and closing the wastegate while it was still attached. Could this have damaged the seals on the turbo? My only other clue at this point is that after I popped the hood I noticed two things, one- some of the smoke was kinda coming out of the turbo unit, and two, my turbo has a nice layer of oil on it. I'd be really inclined to say it's the turbo, but the white smoke has me second guessing. Any ideas?
