86 turbo Canadian model still quiting on me. I was digging around in the wiring, trying to trace the rpm signal from the ignition module back to the fuel injection module. What I found is that the rpm signal goes out on pin seven of the ignition module on a yellow wire, it ends up on a module that plugs into the fuse holder block under the hood, this is some kind of transistor driver unit, this unit then sends the rpm signal out to other areas including the fuel injection module on a blue wire which goes to a wire crimp with four other blue wires (the crimp is covered with a heat shrink tube), incidently one of these blue wires connects to the tach in the dash. The wire crimp is located under the fuse board, two screw removed and out it comes, hell of a lot of wiring under there. Mac..
