the 02 sensor is probably at least 90k miles old.
its one of the things i was planning on checking as part of my self guided 120k service.
i gave a read through the LH faq last night, and there seemed to be a few things that i should at least examine. Throttle body probably needs a cleaning (just cleaned AIC).
i kept my old plugs and numbered them, maybe i can get a pic of them up here. I didnt take a real close look at them, but if i remember correctly, they were a bit black (certainly not white).
gas mileage is at about 23, which is a little lower than usual, but ive been driving almost exclusively short commuting and a tend to wind it up a little, so thats probably not unreasonable.
when you say drivability problems, i dont think of the car as having drivability issues. It does idle a bit rough, but im not sure how its supposed to idle to be honest. The head gasket was rebuilt/replaced (i dont even know, thats embarassing. must look closer at old service records) and the last time my mom had it in the shop (about 1.5 years ago) the mechanic said something like "head rebuilt, car runs rough." so i dont know if that could be from a poor rebuild of the head job, or if its left over from fuel system issues :\
i'll start with the o2 sensor.
also, never gotten the check engine light since we've had the car.
