there are 2 stories. all thanks to Roland at SWEDISH SAAB SERVICE @ NYC. story # 1. on the way to a shop for my new radio installation (the old radio was already removed - leaving the top slot open). then i saw a kitten from a road side where cars and trucks can move easily 40-50 mph. the kitten was so frighten and keep running toward the door of a Burger King rest. she had crashed hard head on to the glass door few times and looks it's beyond terrify stage. i couldn't walk away from this and had to rescued the little one. to make the story shorter, she somehow climbed inside the dash from the bottom and can be seen throught the empty radio slot. after 2 hours of trying everything to get her out in the HOT NYC heat. i desided to drive over to see Roland for help. the first thing i said to him was " Roland, i'm f**ked " after he and all the other shop guys have seen the kiiten in the radio slot, Roland said " he wished he has a camera, saabnet would love to see this." well, too bad. there's no camera around. this could have been a great picture for everyone to see. then he proceeded to take the dash apart. an hour later, we got her out and into a box. the kitten was finally safe and so is my ass. Roland had dropped anything to help me and DID NOT WANT $ for his work. THANK YOU ROLAND. story # 2. Roland had done some work on my saab about a week ago. totally unexpected on my part. he saids that i'm getting $70. back from him because his part supplier had over charged from a week ago. I have never heard of this kind of refund before. have anyone of you have this before ??? i would think that for anyone else, the mechanic would have just keep the $. how many of you have a mechanic like Roland ?!!! Thank you Roland. the Kitten thanks you.
