I'll try to keep this short, but I had to share it.

I was pulling into a favorite gas station- stereo kicking a bit and MSS exhaust gutting. I start filling up and this kid walks over from his highly modified Honda (I think- big scoops, tails/wings/and things, and two massive resenator tips sticking out- must be building, because only partcially painted). He asked me about my car, "what you got under that hood?" I told him about my very modest mods and he asked, "what turbo you running?" I told him Garrett/OEM and we talked about boost for a second. He says, "that thing sounds MEAN- I really like that whine." He goes on to tell me about his ride. So after a short time he went inside and I finished pumping gas and scrathed my head.

The punch! As I drove out, I hit the AC button and the "whine" started- my AC compressor! It's days are numbered and whines like a baby with RPMs. You heard it here first! When the rocket guys start added playing cards (for the young guys- we used to put them on our bikes- pedal pwr that is) to their flywheels- you'll know why!
