Could be fuel pump. Notice any hum/buzz loder than normal? How old is the filter? With engine off, get a short piece of wire and jump between fuse 27 to 30 to run pump by itself. Does it sound loud or is there variation to the buzz? Jumper wire will warm up, but you should have no trouble holding it to the fuses long enough the listen to the pump. This bypasses the relay. The only time I messed up a relay was due to a jump start without turning on the lights, blower motor and rear defroster when the jumper cables were unhooked with the motor running.
Also, if your tach dropped immediately to zero when missing occured, you might have a problem with your EZK crank sensor or ignition control module. If it does it again, watch the tach.
Clean the connector plug to the air mass meter and grounds in general, just in case you had a fluky bad connection.
