My 1991 900S has an odd history it seems, or maybe its common.... In my owners book holder there are 2 books other 900's dont have. One titled SAAB military sales, and the other is a seperate service manual. From what i could gather this is some sort of special program setup for active duty american and canadian soilders and officers aswell as diplomats who are spending a significant ammount of time in europe. It seems to provide a way for someone to purchase a saab at many locations in europe and then have it shipped back to the north american countries.(all handled by SAAB) my car was sold in a german city of which i forget the name, and recived in canada. One cool thing i discovered in the paperwork was a shipping tag in german and some paperwork for aranging air freight from germany handwritten in german.
i have never heard of anything like this...
Does anyone know more about this program? Is it common?
