wits end again with cold start idle problems. i have to put my foot on gas to kepp my 1990 spg running in the morning or it will stall out. below are the things i have done such as mods and the parts that have been replaced trying to correct this problem.

a. 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator. the 2.8 bar i had did not work well with my mods i had. the car sputterd. i put the 3.0 back on and it ran better.
b. 8.5 magnecore wires. are these o'k?
c. k/n filter
d. new aic valve
e. new air mass meter. i have a spare also, but there is no change when i switch out.
f. new grometts on cylinder head and intake manifold
g. new rubber hoses all around
h. new stratmoshere turbo bypass valve and hose that attaches to it. dealer stated i need this, but i did not
i.24 lbs bosch fuel injectors from swedish dynamics. are these o'k ?
j. new ngk spark plugs

i have noticed that when i disconnect the battery cable, the idle problem goes away for a short period....a few days. could this be the problem? is there some type of computer that is re-setting itself? i think this must be the problem, but i am not sure.

saab re-chipped my ecm and this did not help. as you can see, the dealer is no help.....all they seem to be concerned with are their newer model cars.

i do not think it is the mods i have done. i need some help again. thanks very much !
