With a sound system, there's not much else to listen to quite frankly. If anything does go wrong, it's usually obvious and sometimes a sound does give the condition away. But I do watch the guages regularly out of habit. You ever "fly" one of the computer flight simulators for any length of time? Especially the military fighter craft. If you've ever become "addicted" to one as I did for a time, your virtual life and rank promotion depends on watching the dash information. Around that time, when driving in my car, I had to force myself out of the survival/alert mode and just relax. "This ain't no F117A man, you're not on a tight flight schedule with limited fuel and enemy aircraft hunting you down, so just drive."
