I think SKF makes the wheel bearings for Saab . . . the last one I replaced was and SKF bearing at any rate.
What procedure are you using to install them? I'm an engineer for a bearing company so I feel justified in telling you that most of the problems we see with early failures are related to improper installation. Bearings are pretty easy to damage. Make sure you press on the outer ring not the inner ring of the bearing when you install it into the hub. I don't recall whether or not the shaft presses through the inner rings or just slides through, but if it does press, make sure you press on the inner ring only. The other possibility is that the hub itself is damaged - bore out of round, tapered, cracked, etc - which could also result in early bearing failure.
