In the early 90's, Saab only sold about 10-15 thousand 900s per year in the whole country. For example, in 1991, the total imported to the US was slightly more than 11,000. Of these, the 4 doors were probably less than half, as the 3 door was very popular. So these are pretty rare cars. Back in the mid-80s, Saab was selling 35,000 900s. So in the early 90s, they sold less than a third.
The sad thing about that is that the 91-93 900s were really super cars. But the Maximas, Acuras, and Bimmers really came to dominate the market.
