This is a common problem. What happens is the foanm backing on the headliner fabric degrades causing the fabric to fall away. To fix it right you take out the headliner shell and take off the fabric, clean the shell with a brush, apply adhesive and put new fabric on. There are many posts on this board that spell it out, search under "Headliner". It's not that big a deal to take the shell out and take it to someone and have them put new fabric on ($150) versus buying the fabric and glue ($75) and doing it your self. The cheap and dirty fix is to use staples, thumbtacks, or upholstery tacks. I have even seen headliner tacks at Pep Boys and etc. If you have the $ and the time.. do it right, if not, use staples until you get the $ and time.
