...it's your clutch master. get a replacement from a saabnet sponsor such as eeuroparts or sobstory. i just did mine ~month ago; cost ~$75 (The non-OEM master I got is made by Lockheed, and is identical to the one that i replaced, so no need to pay for a genuine SAAB part). for peace of mind, i also put in a new clutch line; ~$45.
instructions in bentley are deceptively simple, and folks here have written that it's a piece of cake. however, i found that working down there is very tight, & ended up having to move the coolant reservoir and alternator out of the way. bentley doesn't say to do this. also, when fitting the replacement, don't bolt it into the firewall until you've got the clutch line attached. have a water hose handy - though i did my best to pinch the line from the reservoir, i still managed to drip brake fluid all over the place. when you're down there working from inside the car, check to see if the hole in your clutch pedal has elongated, apparently a problem for many (mine was perfect @ 135k miles) - a simple fix is outlined at townsendimports.com. last, cuz you're going to have to bleed the clutch (vacuum bleed is very tough to do right, apparently; go with a pressure bleed), you may as well pick up a quart of brake fluid & flush your brake system while you're at it...
