Hey Micah

No problem! I wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with this PITA like I had to!

I actually removed the two screws holding the vacuum canaster to the fenderwall. BOTH hoses that go into the vacuum canaster were completely disconnected. The one hose that clips underneath the windshield in the engine bay conencts to the bigger nipple on the canaster. The other smaller hose runs underneath that plastic AC shroud thing. Very tiny hose, hard to connect. Connects to the very tiny nipple on the canaster.

My idle was about 1300-1400 RPMs this morning before I touched anything. Saw the bigger hose was disconnected, conencted it. Idle dropped down to about 1100 RPMs. Better than before! I thought the smaller nipple was some type of pressure relief valve. Didn't even think a hose should connect to it.

Even though I was happy with getting my idle a little bit lower... I had to check that little nipple again. I found the tiny hose that connects to it, and with a lot of trouble trying to reconnect it, I got it on, and idle was fixed. I recommend using long needle nose pliers to try to get the hose back on to the nipple.

The smaller hose barely is long enough to connect to the nipple, and there isn't much room for hands to connect it down there. All the accumluation of grease down there makes the hose easy to slide off too.

Well, hopefully my success story will help you out!
Good luck!
Taylor
