As I used to own one. The car was a 96' Jetta GLX. I really like the engine and drivetrain but the rest of the car was pretty much garbage I think. al sorts of stuff was going wrong with it and it was only 2 years old when I got it. The SAAB's I've had/have are great cars and althoug they require more attention it's only becuas ethey aren't 2 yrs old but more like 10 years old and older... So they ned more love..... The VR6 engine is also prety expensive ot make faster, mainly cause they're kinda rare and so parts will cost more. I had mine chipped, K&N filtered, and Exhaust... I could not afford anymore cause cams were like $800 and then after that you'll need to start digging into the engine to make more power and everything in that range cost into the thousand easily, Not pretty at all. The SAAB simply needs about $1,000 in parts to make it fly and my saab can and does beat VR6's all day long...
see Ya,
Phil
