Ya, my oem brass had a nice drain valve.
Interested in the 82/82 combo with new rad. Very little delta-T across rad when not moving, so I would expect frequent short fan cycles in hot traffic, stop and go, ac off. T-stat will just be cracked open, high bypass, and the low mass flow thru rad will quickly be cooled.
I'm shortly trying a special 88c switch. the 85c 3-pin can also be used to recreate the oem offset (92/89). these allow the t-stat to open more, and spare the fans.
