Wheel bearing problem????? Help!!!

Replaced ball joints and springs/shocks, bushings, brakes and all up front but when I went to put my hubs back on one wheel bearing had tons of play in it. The spindle that the rotor bolts to seems to move a fair bit inside the hub. By looking at the back side it appears all movement is within the bearing. So I went to my parts 900 car thinking I wouldn't have to buy a new one. I jacked it up, gave the rotor a good shake and things seemed solid. I carefully removed the hub brought it to my other car and sure enough it was full of this play now too. So I ordered a new bearing from eeuroparts brough it a machine shop to press they pressed and this morning when I went to pick it up this bearing had the play in it as well? Now I am just confused. Is this normal or whats happening here? The bearing itself is not moving where it is pressed in is just appears to have play between the halves. Any help would be great!
-Thanks
-Mark
