1. (91Turbo) coming from directly under the left speaker grill. It sounds like the tape deck is rewinding a loose tape but it's coming from under the speaker grill. It subsides when i accelerate the car. The only other thing i did lately to it was put a 82deg thermostat in. I was trying to be nice to my friend but i'm afraid i damaged her car!
2. I did the same thing to my 90-S and now the engine is shuddering--ie. idling terribly.
by the way: to wash the engine, i sprayed it with "Engine Brite", scrubbed, and then rinsed quickly with a hose. Then, once dry i sprayed the hoses with clear coat spray paint. (I did the same thing to my 85 BMW and it didn't have any problems)
