OK, I'm out in the pouring rain with my wife's '88 900s auto. I park it for half hour, still raining, come back out, starts fine and runs UNTIL I make a sharp left turn. Then sputter, sputter, stall. Start, stall, start, stall, start, stall for 5 minutes or so. Starts fine, then dies. Then, it starts and runs fine. I drive it for awhile, make another half hour stop. Come out - SAME THING. Runs fine until I make a sharp left, then sputter, sputter die. Same deal.
It's like when I turn water that has puddled somewhere splashes on something in the engine compartment and the car doesn't want to run any more. I don't think it's the cap, because it starts right up and then dies after about 5 seconds.
Any ideas? It's not one of those things you can just go to your indie and duplicate on a sunny day. I'm thinking maybe the AMM gets wet, and that once it warms up enough for the O2 sensor to come online, it runs fine. Anybody have this before?
