Called several other places, and got quotes for $100 per dent, and an appointment needed a week in advance. The detailing shop was my last resort. I called the detailing shop last minute to have her show-ready for SOC 02. I figured they would give me the same blah blah blah.

They took me in on 2 hours notice! Even worked around my schedule because I had my 1990 SPG jacked up painting the brake calipers red. They look good BTW.

They quoted me for $35 per dent on the phone. I put some masking tape on 4 noticable dings on the paint of my car to show them where the dings were. One real nasty ding on my door (some a$$hole opened their door into mine), and 3 on the hood (maybe from acorns? -- came that way when I bought it from original owner). I'm expecting to leave the car with them for 3 to 4 hours, and expecting to pay $140 at minimum.

They called back an hour and a half later. All 4 dings that I had told them about were removed... plus 3 other dings. One was my fault.. which I didn't think could be fixed. It was horrendous. And also two other dings in the door which the ding-remover guy found. Total price.... you ready? $80!

I had my girlfriend speed me over, expecting to see a poor quality job. The dings are all gone. Even the two nasty ones. No trace. No matter what light! Excellent work!

I was truly impressed. Show-ready for SOC! Now tomorrow I can get back to finish painting my rear brake calipers ( :

BTW-- the place is located in Hershey, PA... if anyone is close... come check it out!

Just my two cents!
