I empty the reservoir with a large (60 or 100cc) syringe fitted with a few inches of Tygon tube. If there's a lot of sludge in the res., I wash it down with clean fluid using the syringe and suck it as dry as possible. Then open one rear (LH is easier to start with cause you can see it from driver's seat)and run the abs pump until fluid stops coming out. This drains the lower piece of the reservoir that can't be sucked dry. Now fill 'er up and bleed each rear in 1 minute increments until very clear (about a pt a piece). Then open each front bleed screw. You can actually get a pretty good job just letting gravity work from here but it's slow. I put the cap back on the reservoir and use the syringe to pressure bleed by holding the Tygon tube over the vent hole in the cap and compressing the air in the syringe. Under 1 hr total. BTW any good suggestions to get rid of brake fluid (don't say mix it with oil!)? I end up with around a gallon per ABS flush and it's piling up. No one seems to want to take it.
