My resonator went on my '91 900 2.1L. I ended up having them (ma and pa shop in Melbourne FL) replace the muffler with a Imco, and had them cut out the rear resonator all together. Let me tel you...IT'S not THAT MUCH louder at all! More of a throathy sound to it.
Just have them put a straightpipe in, I had mine done for $10. I say take the other 190, take the wife/gf out and tell them that the Saab treated her tonight! (You know, to help her feelings toward the Saab ;-)
