Just bought my wife 92, 900T,C, and experienced an intermittent problem that I have not had with our other Saabs.
While driving at 35 mph (after 45 minutes at 55-60 mph)in 4th gear, we felt a couple lunges at 2000 rpm (also did see "check engine light come on and go off at a stop) so I moved into 5th. She seemed to idel along a little smoother as long of course as I didn't get to heavy on the pedal. Then all of a sudden the car just died at 35 mph. I coasted arround a corner and had a rough time keeping her running when started again. As I started out in 1st she bucked hard till higher speed. I then got on a highway with speeds of 55-65 mph and she ran fine again next 25 minutes till home. I did notice a high pitched noise as I turned into drive, Turbo?
I believe previous must have had problem, looked like new ignition wires and cap. Anyone diagnose similar symptoms??
