Like Keith says, I wouldn't disconnect the throttle switch 'cause the ECU needs that. I don't have a '90 so I don't know if its the same as my '89. One of the wires from the throttle switch splits. One goes to the ECU, the other goes to the AC. You could open the connection to the AC relay & keep the connection to the ECU. If the AC relay never sees that terminal being grounded, it won't disengage the clutch.
Or... Check this out. It may be that the throttle switch is sticking. Then it's providing bogus information to the ECU anyway, so you should replace it. Check the switch with an ohm-meter to see it making contact at WOT, then make sure the switch opens again when you let the throttle close.
