I took a road trip (2 hours) to look at a "mint" 88 SPG- not only was it beat and rusted- the guy wanted 5K. I was kind and offered 2K. He said he, "was insulted." And he also mentioned that a guy from Michigan was flying into to see (this is FL). I feel sorry for that guy!

Totally agree with other posts- prices posted here on Saabnet are way too inflated- doubt they EVER get that kind of $$.

I have found that prices in southern states are just plain cheaper when it comes to Saabs. Many pics from NE AF dealers have palm trees in the back ground.

I tried to sell one in KY for a "fair" price- even dumped 1K below that- NOTHING. A 2 day drive to NH (and one way flight back) to my sisters proved my point. I started 'high,' and after a $300 hagle- this girl from ME drove away with a great car and I was more than happy.

Keep looking!
