Is it a four-speed? I had a cream/yellow one with orange and red stripes and "SAAB" near the back. Tan cloth interior, no sunroof. Mine had cruise control, but I think that was a dealer accessory, as was the nice 4-speaker Blaupunkt tape deck w/ seperate 4-channel amp.
Unfortunately, it was retired in 1989 when it was T-boned dead center in the driver's side by a teenager in a camaro who wasn't paying attention to where he was going. Fortunately, I wasn't hurt, and the car still drove, but it was totalled at 145,000 miles. The floorpan had buckled below the rear seat, and the interior door trim was touching the driver's seat. I was showered with small cubes of safety glass, some of which mysteriously later turned up IN my pants.
I remember that the car felt more like a 99 than the '83 and '86 turbos I've had since then. Of course, it had the exact same seats, steering wheel, seat belts, and shifter as a 99.
I'd love to restore one someday, but don't have the resources to embark on that journey right now. Good luck finding someone who can breathe new life into a faithful old warhorse.
