I know about the two brightness controls. They will both not go as bright as they should. There are shadows on some of the clusters from indicator arms. I will try halo bulbs which I will solder in since I have some warping. Too bad the bulb holders are not glass or something that won't warp. I love my 900 but the headliner, dash lights, and dash plastic were not a gool choice by the builders. I agree that our cars our superior in many other ways such as safety and fun to drive. I also like the cockpit drivers area. My seats are also far better than the little buckets in my wife's Acura. Her car has been incredibly good on maint issues and the materials they used. Never have any dash light trouble and the dash lights are nice and bright with no shadows. Headliner is plastic so no sagging. The air vent power is either to high or too low which is a bother. It is a 1.6 liter and is quite sporty. The Acura doesn't have the same performance and aura of my 900T. Her small hatch trunk sucks, there is less legroom as I'm 6'2" tall and her sterring isn't as good.

I enjoy upgrading stuff on my Saab and it is becoming a really unique and personalized car. I broke a fog lamp yesterday. I moved them up higher but I was on a bad driveway. Maybe I could cut holes in the bumper and place them in there recessed. I like how they look where they are now though and normally I careful to avoid foglamp scrapes.

Good chatting with you, best KB.
