The lines do leak with time. Big $ to replace - around $125 each. Good news is that if they aren't super corroded you can have a shop that repairs high pressure hoses (Pirtek) crimp new hose sections onto the existing fittings. Be very careful when removing the lines from the oil cooler itself. Follow Bentley and drop the cooler down to get access to the connections. Use a second wrench on the oil cooler boss fitting so you don't crack it off (like I did last month...). Oil cooler is aluminum and fittings are steel. Mine also had OEM thread sealer which make it a beotch to remove (and rethread- had to clean out the threads). All caveats and pitfalls aside, it's an easy job with the correct wrenches and nimble fingers.
This all being said, no drips, no worries in my book. If it's not dripping, you're not loosing visible amounts of oil from that source. You'll go nuts chasing little leaks on a 14 year old engine.
Good luck.
