light grey or tan. not treated when newer. I have not seen anyhting that restores the flexibility required to actually be tied down again. IN my dad's 9k it is pretty bad. In my dk grey interiors ('95 9k and '92 C900) they are still supple. In teh c900 with lt grey, it is not as supple and is pulling up a bit. If it is still supple, the tie wire has ripped free. pull off the cover and see what is up. there are 2 springs which pull this down.
