I was habving trouble getting mounting box out after radio was pulled the radio I have with seperate equalizer 900 1990 turbo convertable. The box has tabs on top & bottom that needed to be pryed up then entire box pulls free with electronic thing on back. Yes I had wiring diagram from this site Justin van abrams thanks also had in the stereo guide owner's manual that I had. Simply connected all wires except did not need "illumination " wire as radio that was inserted did not use this function. Used red crimp connectors and spliced all wires. also last week replaced all speakers. Used Panasonic 4" (100 Watts) up front as hard to find 4" speakers anywhere. Also used Alpine 6 1/2 in rear. Alpine deck w/ CD player 40 watts sounds great. Easiest job I ever did on saab speakers took 2 hours for all four stereo also 2 hours. Price I paid Alpine deck on sale $94 Panasonic 4" Walmart $25 aLPINE 6 1/2 on sale $65
I removed equalizer as not needed anymore. Anyone know a fair price on E Bay for original deck & Equalizer? Also need box to mount in Equalizer slot for storage where can I get this?
