I consider ten of these 'keepers' at the present state of evaluation. So far I probably enjoy the '76 99 EMS the most, but its awaiting a harmonic balancer pulley replacement at the moment. It has a strong rebuilt engine and a 5-spd. '87 900T with SPG springs and shocks is the daily driver. '66 96 Special is running, but I have been holding back on drving it recently in the hot, high polution index weather. Next on the road will probably be '67 96 V4, original white paint, no rust. It will be getting tight strong engine and trans from a parts car '74 Sonett, euro 2-barrel Solex and MSS exhaust, 1-2 inch lowering and 195-60's on Soccerballs. Just agreed to buy a '73 Sonett that is in good running condition, but needs some TLC, so I can enjoy a Sonett during the good weather and try it in SCCA Solo where I was running the 99. Others are: '86 900 2-door- needs engine and trans swap, may get power unit and panels from wrecked '86 SPG. '78 99T- have rebuilt engine , 5-spd, and suspension improvements awaiting assembly. '66 96 stroker- great rust-free Arizona car that will become an 850 MC with all parts collected, yellow with red interior. '73 Sonett- all original early '73 small bumper, 65K, yellow, last owner disassembled engine compartment, cleaned and repainted everything, never put it back together. '63 Bullnose 96 stroker- super straight, rust free, red faded to slight rust patina, runs but has no brakes or exhaust system, gas tank leaks, no interior. I have 4 garages on a half acre, and once you get inside the buildings or on the back of the lot its all Saabs.
