Open the hood and see if the air intake door is closed when the A/C is running. If not then get it fixed. If the door is closed touch the fitting from the A/C that comes into the same unit as the door from the A/C compressor. If it is not cool get the A/C fixed. Finally push the door open and put your hand into the air flow and see it it is cold or warm. If it is real warm the mechanic probably broke the cold/hot control arm inside the dash and it is letting warm water thru the heater core and warming the air past the point the air exchanger can cool it.
