I know this has been discussed before but has anyone ever put a set of Magnecor 8.5mm on their stock engine and wished they just used the 8mm reconmmmended by Magnecor and Swedish Dynamics?
I have a 89 900TC stock engine.
Thanks

Swedish dynamics comment:
8.5 mm will provide less spark energy as OEM (higher resistance/length) and are usually reserved for high energy/aftermarket ignition systems.
These wires will not work best on factory ignition systems, and, in the case of increasing plug gap to .028, we see some igition misfire on dyno work...especially under higher boost levels.
8 mm will work best with factory ignition systems and provide better spark (lower resistance) than the factory wires. .028 gap will be best for reduced wire resistance and we have yet to experience any ignition issues with regard to extended turbo boost levels.
Good luck and regards!
