The balljoints you can do yourself. You may need to have a lot of patience though because they get really stuck/rusted in there (the bolts, mainly) and you may have to use a grinder to get the bolts out. Once you get the bolts out, you hammer the balljoint to slide it out of the A-arm. I dont know about the axles though. basically these two tasks, youre taking off the whole control arm thing which isnt mentally challenging just takes time and effort. oh yeah, you also need to put a spacer in between the a-arm and the frame when jack it up. Hard to describe, you shuld use a manual I guess. You dont need to buy the Saab tool, just buy a stack of washers 1" high x 4 and stack them in there. I believe Dave New has pictures of all this on his website.
