Yeah, once you see the thing it will make sense how to use it. Basically the EZ-out is made of really strong metal. The EZ-out kit should come with titanium drill bits that are used to drill into the bolt that you may snap off. The EZ-out bits then go into the hole and you smack them with a hammer to wedge them even more into the hole. The design of the EZ-out bit is like a backwards corkscrew. When you turn it left to loosen the bolt, it is actually screwing itself into the bolt you are trying to get out. These things are used all the time by hard-core shade tree mechanics and stuff. What ever you do, dont break the EZ-out once you get it in. The metal they are made out of cannot be drilled out except probably with a diamond or something,a titanium bit wont drill them out.. Been there done that. Good luck, just do a search for EZ-out on google if you need more info.
