Help! SPG is dead! Posted by Gordon [Email] (#97) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gordon) on Tue, 27 Aug 2002 15:51:53 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
After I finnally figured out &fixed some electrical problems I was having with my '85 spg (all were centered around a very poor cd player install I paid $250 to have done profesionally)I installed a Pioneer cd player, 600 watt Jensen amp, &two Pioneer '10 subwoofers, all the wiring was done correctly by my cousin who works at circuit city doing these types of installs, well it worked awesome, subs pounded hard...I was 100% satified with the outcome, so tonight I was driving around, I drove home, parked the spg and was letting it cool down before turning off the engine, before I did that I hit the power buttom on the cd player to shut it off, well not only did it shut off the cd player, it shut off the whole car! And it wouldn't even turn over! Nothing, the only thing that would come on were VERY dim dash lights, and thats it! I checked the battery with a battery tester and it said that it was fully charged......I had a new alternator installed a few months ago...what could it be??? :(
ANY info would be greatly appreciated! (this is my only car) I guess I shouldn't have sold my other two SAABS!
