and are a different breed than the C900s discussed here. Do you plan on maintaining it yourself or having it cared for? I am really biased against the NG900s, especially older cheap ones. I had one a couple of years ago and I sold it because it scared me. It looked to be too difficult to work on. (I do all my own work) There are a number of 'known issues' with them which can be quite expensive to deal with. Transmission shift mechanism, front suspension noises/excessive wear, no ball joints, but expensive suspension menbers which have to be replaced, etc. If you do get a Saab, it will be needy especially right after you buy it unless it is well maintained. Even then, they are usually jealous and throw a fit after they are sold. You must prove to teh car that you are as worthy as the previous owner, etc. The neediness may just be fluid changes and a minor problem. I just got a '95 9000 and it is trying to kill me. Make sure that you look for a cared for car instead of one which was driven and ignored. With proper care, they can last a very long time.
