Oil filter change tip

I don't know if this is an unknown tip but I just discovered it tonight while changing my '86 900T's oil. I had the oil all drained out and went to tackle the oil filter. Oh, @%#$, the filter won't come off! Let's see, my strap wench won't fit now what? After pondering it for a while I went and grabbed a pair of gardening gloves. You know, the white floral design ones with the little rubber knobs on the palm. Oil filter twisted right off! All you have to do is get the filter starting to budge and then you can take them off so that they don't get oily. Worked like a charm! I tightened the new filter on with them too. Once again just the finishing 1/2 turn. Try it sometime.
