I just destroyed my friends compressor putting texturing on some walls. His is an oilless type and the heat made it lock up. Luckily it was still under warranty. The service shop told me the the oilless ones can't run very long continuously because of the heat. It said it was O.K. for spaying. I guess they forgot to say in the directions no mud spraying. There is also no temp indicator and no warning about what the compressor can't handle.
Best, KB.
